Hawaiian Airlines has announced plans to debut nonstop flights between Los Angeles and the Big Island of Hawaii and Kauai next summer.

The carrier will begin seasonal service four times a week between LAX and Kauai’s Lihue Airport June 27 and a three-times-weekly flight linking LAX and Kona Airport on the Big Island beginning June 26.

Hawaii will operate 264-passenger, wide-body Boeing 767 300ER aircraft on both routes, adding a total of more than 22,000 air seats to the destinations during the 12-week seasonal period ending Sept. 19.

The airline announced plans to begin nonstop 2014 summer seasonal service connecting Oakland, Calif. to both Kauai and the Big Island earlier this year.
