Hawaiian Airlines transported more than 928,000 passengers in August, essentially unchanged from the same month one year ago.

The carrier’s load factor also remained flat in August, slipping less than a percentage point to 84.8%, according to figures released by Hawaiian on Sept. 9.

Revenue producing miles improved, however, climbing 4% year over year to more than 1.3 billion.

Through the first eight months of this year, Hawaiian has transported over 6.8 million passengers, up 1.1% over the same period in 2013, while maintaining a load factor of 81.2%, off less than a percentage point year over year.
