Hawaiian Airlines transported more than 1 million passengers in July, an increase of 5.2% over the same month last year.

The carrier’s load factor remained essentially unchanged, however, dipping less than a percentage point, to 84.5% year over year, according to figures released by Hawaiian Aug. 5.

Meanwhile, revenue earning passenger miles increased 3.8%, to more than 1.3 billion.

Year to date through the end of July, Hawaiian has transported more than 6.1 million passengers, up 5.1%, while the carrier’s load factor increased less than a percentage point, to 80.7%.
