Hawaiian Airlines transported more than 877,000 passengers in August, a jump of 12.8% over the same month last year.



The carrier’s revenue-producing miles also grew, soaring 24.3% year over year in August, according to figures released by Hawaiian Sept. 6.

The airlines load factor dipped, however, during the month, slipping 1.7 percentage points, to 84.3%.

Through the first eight months of this year, Hawaiian has transported more than 6.3 million travelers, up 8.4% from the same period a year ago, while its load its load factor has remained essentially unchanged, dropping less than a percentage point, to 84%.
