The Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, located on the Valley Isle’s Kaanapali Beach, said it has completed $12 million in upgrades to its suite products, luau grounds and two of its food and beverage outlets.
Five million dollars was spent on refurbishments to the property’s 21 Ocean Suites and seven Deluxe Ocean Suites; they received new hardwood flooring, redesigned and enlarged bathrooms, new furniture and updated wall coverings.
The Hyatt Regency Maui also renovated its Drums of the Pacific Luau space, the Sunset Terrace, by resurfacing the venue’s floors, adding new bathroom facilities and installing an elevated VIP group area with redesigned tables and chairs.
Meanwhile, the property’s Grotto Bar received new flat-screen TVs, a new bar, seating and artwork. The Swan Court and Son’z restaurant underwent a $1 million upgrade to its seating area.
