The 43rd annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival kicks off Nov. 1, comprising nearly 40 events on the Big Island of Hawaii’s west coast.

Hawaii’s oldest food festival, the 10-day event offers a range of culinary showcases, music, cultural activities, arts exhibitions and popular community events, including coffee-cupping competitions and a Miss Kona Coffee pageant.

This year, Kamehameha Schools will host a Hoolaulea celebration at the Keauhou Shopping Center beginning Nov. 9, wrapping up the festival with a presentation of local food, a craft fair and a wide range of family-friendly cultural activities.
