Marc joins Rewards Network Hotels

Marc Resorts Hawaii joined Rewards Network Hotels, a program that can earn members up to 15% cash-back rewards. Airline members can earn up to 10 airline miles for every dollar spent on the room rate by booking hotel stays through the network. Marc Resorts Hawaii represents 13 properties on five Hawaiian islands.

Donatoni's at the Hilton Waikoloa Village is proposing a toast to itself. The wine cellar at the fine dining restaurant on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island received the prestigious 2004  Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine.

Donatoni's and other recipients of the 2004 Restaurant Awards are featured in the Aug. 31 issue of Wine Spectator.

The Italian restaurant's wine list boasts 185 vintage labels from all of the world's finest wine regions and will be adding another 50 labels in the near future.

Outrigger Hotels & Resorts is offering guests staying at any of its Outrigger Condominium Collection properties in Hawaii up to $25 in free gas when booking the new Free Fuel & Fun fall special. Outrigger also is offering Best Value Rates of up to 35% off at Outrigger Condominium Collection properties, available for stays from Sept. 1 through Dec. 21.

Marriott International senior executives from around the world met at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa to discuss the company's global strategies and its continued expansion in Hawaii.

Marriott has 14 properties in the islands, including the new Courtyard by Marriott Kauai. The hotel chain's luxury brand, the Ritz-Carlton, proposes to build a combination hotel and time-share property at Ko Olina Resort. Marriott's JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa is the only other hotel in the resort.

Sheraton Hotels teamed with Xerox Hawaii to open a full-service, in-hotel business center at the Sheraton Waikiki.

The 1,900-square-foot facility provides guests with copying, printing, word processing, organizing and delivery of documents. The space also has high-speed Internet work stations; a wireless-access lounge; computer, cell phone and office equipment rental; packaging and shipping services; fax; and a notary service. The center is open from 6 a.m to 9 p.m and is available to guests staying at any of the Sheraton Oahu properties.
