Las Vegas-based Maverick Helicopters, a division of Maverick Aviation, has announced plans to begin tours on Maui in the spring.

“We take guests over the Grand Canyon and the famous Las Vegas Strip, two of the U.S.’s most adored vacation spots, so Hawaii is an absolute natural fit for us,” Greg Rochna, CEO of Maverick Aviation Group, said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to see the company expand, and even more excited to become part of the Hawaiian tourism community.”

The company plans to operate new Maui tours in its EC-130 Ecostar helicopters, which feature individual seating for up to seven passengers.
