The Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has named Michael Mestraud general manager and vice president of resident operations for the Americas.
Mestraud has been with the company for more than two decades, most recently serving as the general manager at the Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo, where he oversaw a $35 million renovation of the resort.
As general manager, Mestraud will oversee the day-to-day operations at the western Oahu property, including the 370 guestrooms and suites, Naupaka Spa & Wellness Center and five restaurants and lounges. He will also serve as Four Seasons vice president of residential operations for the Americas, overseeing 10 private residential portfolios.
"As we embark on this new era, the resort's unparalleled service, genuine warmth of the tea, and authentic experiences that capture a deep sense of place will guide our storytelling and further elevate the already tranquil ambience here on Oahu," Mestraud said in a statement.
Prior to Costa Rica, Mestraud, a native of France, held the position of general manager at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole in Wyoming; resort manager of the Four Seasons Resort Biltmore Santa Barbara, in California; and resort manager at the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.
