More than 870,000 passengers traveled on Hawaiian Airlines flights in June, an increase of 5.6% over the same month last year.



The carrier also saw revenue producing miles climb nearly 13% to more than 1.2 billion in June, according to figures released by Hawaiian July 3.

The airline’s load factor slipped, however, dropping 1.9 percentage points, to 84.6%, during the month.

Year to date through June, Hawaiian transported nearly 4.9 million passengers, up 7.3% from the same period in 2012, while its load factor dropped 3 percentage points year over year, to 80.9%.
