Coast Hotels has named Gregg Enright general manager at the 27-acre Waimea Plantation Cottages on Kauai.

“Through his extensive background in the hospitality industry and in-depth Hawaiian knowledge, Gregg will serve as an extremely valuable resource in helping Waimea Plantation Cottages elevate its overall service and the execution of long-term strategic goals,” Doug Rigoni, executive vice president and COO of Coast Hotels U.S, said in a statement.

Coast Hotels took over management at the Waimea Plantation Cottages in July 2014. The property had been run previously by Aston Hotels & Resorts for 19 years.

Enright began his career in the hospitality industry in New York but has spent the last 27 years operating eight resorts for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts across the Hawaiian Islands.

“Having lived and worked in Hawaii since I was 26 years old, I’m looking forward to representing a property that really embraces the history of the island,” Enright said in a statement. “Waimea Plantation Cottages is a hidden gem, and I’m looking forward to expanding its brand recognition in both the local and national hospitality space.”
