Gregg Lundberg began work as the general manager at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa in Kaanapali on Aug. 2.

Lundberg is replacing Craig Anderson, who left the Westin Maui to take over as GM at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki last month. A 24-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Lundberg had been the GM at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas since 2003.

“Gregg’s extensive background in hospitality and familiarity with our Maui properties is a huge asset to the Starwood Hawaii family,” Keith Vieira, senior vice president and director of operations for Starwood in Hawaii and French Polynesia, said in a statement. “We’re delighted that he will be bringing his innovative spirit and expertise to the Westin Maui Resort & Spa.”

Starwood said Angela Nolan will take over the general manager position at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas in Maui effective Aug. 2. Nolan has worked for Starwood since 1997 and has held leadership positions at the Kapalua Bay Hotel and Sheraton Maui resort. Nolan previously worked as hotel manager at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas.

“Angela’s passion for hospitality has proved effective in her impressive work with senior-level management at both local and mainland properties,” Vieira said. “We’re excited to see this passion thrive even more in her new role.”
