The Westin Maui Resort & Spa will offer guests two new dining options later this summer, replacing the 12-acre beachfront property’s existing Ono Bar & Grill and Tropica Restaurant & Bar venues.

Looking to provide an innovative approach to the classic American burger experience, the Relish Burger Bistro will be situated outdoors in a garden courtyard setting, featuring a menu populated with options like Kobe burgers, local craft beers and island-sourced produce.

And the Westin Maui Resort & Spa has partnered with the CB5 Hospitality Council, whose portfolio includes Azure at the Royal Hawaiian and Beachhouse at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki, to design the menu and conceptual theme of the property’s new Sugar House Island Kitchen venue, which will replace its current restaurant, Tropica.

Sustainable cuisine sourced from local farms and fisherman will be the focus of the new dining venue, located just off Kaanapali Beach. The new restaurant will also feature the Sugar Shack Rum Bar, serving signature mai tais and providing a setting for live music.

Resort officials are still finalizing the details for both restaurants but expect the new dining options to be ready by midsummer.
