Numbers up for Hawaiian Air in Oct.

More than 932,000 flyers traveled with Hawaiian Airlines in October, up 2.6% from the same month last year.

The carrier's load factor also improved year over year in October, climbing 3.2 percentage points, to 88.3%, according to figures released by Hawaiian Nov. 3.

Revenue producing miles, meanwhile, surged 7.8%, to more than 1.3 billion.

Year to date through October, Hawaiian has transported more than 9.2 million travelers, up 3.7%, while the carrier's load factor improved 2.5 percentage points year over year, to 84.1%.
