Honolulu-based transportation company Roberts Hawaii launched shuttle service between Waikiki and Pearl Harbor on May 1.
The new service offers visitors booked in Waikiki hotels access to the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, which includes the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Oklahoma Memorial, the Battleship Missouri Memorial, the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum and the Pacific Aviation Museum.
“A significant number of visitors to Oahu choose not to include a rental car in their hotel packages,” JoAnn Erban, Roberts’ vice president of sales, said in a statement. “We felt we could provide a much-needed service by offering an affordable and reliable transportation option to one of our state’s most popular attractions, Pearl Harbor.”
The range of attractions in Pearl Harbor welcome more than 1.8 million visitors each year, according to Roberts.
The company’s new Pearl Harbor shuttle will make use of six pickup and drop-off points in Waikiki, including the Hawaii Prince Hotel, the Aqua Ilikai Hotel & Suites, the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, the Duke Kahanamoku Statue at Waikiki Beach, Hyatt Place on Paoakalani Avenue and the Waikiki Sand Villa Hotel.
Pricing is $15 per adult and $10 for ages 4 to 12.
