As of March 2, the Hawaii Superferry has reduced all one-way passenger fares to $39. The offer will be good through Jan. 3, 2010.
"Hawaii Superferry remains an affordable way for families to travel interisland," Neil Takekawa, the company's vice president of sales and marketing, said in a statement. "With this fare available through the end of this year, customers can plan vacations and family visits throughout the year, loading up their car with all of their gear for a weekend of camping on one trip and for a family birthday party on another visit."
A flat fare for adults, seniors, children and military personnel, the $39 rate doesn't include applicable taxes or fees. Kids under 2 ride free. $57 covers the cost of one-way trip for vehicles, including the fuel surcharge. Passengers booking two weeks in advance can save an extra $5 per person, and "peak pricing" is available on specific days.
