Virgin America is scheduled to inaugurate nonstop flights from the U.S. mainland to the Hawaiian Islands in early November.

The carrier will debut its daily Honolulu-San Francisco route on Nov. 2.

Virgin America will then add a daily nonstop flight between San Francisco and Maui Kahului Airport on Dec. 3.

The airline announced plans earlier this year to operate new 149-passenger Airbus A320 aircraft on the Aloha State segments.

The additional Hawaii flights are bolstering impressive airlift growth to the destination, which is on pace to reach a new record of 11.8 million air seats in 2015, up 5.9% year over year, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority.
