Accor has opened its first Pullman-branded hotel in Brazil with the 350-room Pullman Sao Paulo Ibirapuera. The hotel is located near the city's Ibirapuera Park.

The property features two full floors of meetings rooms, as well as an auditorium that can seat as many as 200 people.

France-based Accor operates more than 140 hotels in Brazil. The company is planning on opening a Pullman-branded hotel in every "major" Latin American city within the next few years, Accor said in a statement Wednesday.

As of the end of 2010, Accor had 49 Pullman hotels totaling almost 14,000 rooms in 16 countries, and is planning to expand to about 70 Pullmans worldwide by the end of the year.
