Built in 1882 and remodeled in 2010, this neoclassical building stands in a prime location: close to Plaza Catalunya and the famous Ramblas, and five minutes from the Gothic Quarter.

This large, well-designed commercial and group stop may not reach the heights of its closest competitors, Le Meridien Barcelona and Hotel Majestic Barcelona, but management does an excellent job of keeping things moving smoothly along. It outranks its nearby sibling Silken Ramblas.
