Five of the top Mexican chefs will highlight the best of the new trends in high Mexican cuisine with the Best of Mexico Riviera Maya. The event will be held from Oct. 5 to 9 at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya.


The resort invited chefs including Zahie Tellez, Carlos Gaytan, Francisco Ruano and Mikel Alonso to share their skills through the gastronomic event.

The event is a 10-course tasting menu of original dishes featuring ingredients and seasoning from all of Mexico. The special tasting menu will be offered over the four nights, and is included in the daily rate for all guests of the resort.

Nightly rates start at $393 per person per night based on double occupancy. The all-inclusive rates include accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals, premium beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, use of a fitness center, taxes, gratuity and more.
