Seven weeks into the new year finds Solmar Hotels & Resorts off to a productive start.
The Cabo San Lucas-based hotel group has completed phase two of its Land’s End Resort & Spa and simultaneously broken ground on the Cabo property’s third and final phase.
Building B (phase two) includes 27 oceanfront suites and two spa cabanas overlooking the Pacific.
“The opening of Building B was a significant milestone for Grand Solmar as it marked the beginning of our final phase,” said Ricardo Orozco, managing director of the resort, which opened its doors in May 2011.
“The property was the vision of our founder, the late Don Luis Bulnes, and to see it come to fruition is a testament to the dedication of our staff, executive team and the Bulnes family.”
Scheduled for completion in April 2014 is the centerpiece of phase three, Building C. It will consist of 72 suites, featuring full kitchens, in-villa dining and spa services, terraces, separate seating areas and marble bathrooms.
Phase three also will include an adults-only pool and a separate kids’ pool area, both with water slides, and a full-service spa and fitness center.
