The Grand Velas Riviera Maya has opened newly redesigned kids' and teens' clubs. The new spaces debuted in July, with a second floor of the teens' club set to open in late August and the Jungle Kids' Spa slated to open in October.
The Mayan jungle-inspired kids' club offers indoor and outdoor areas focused on hands-on, screen-free activities, from arts and crafts to cultural workshops such as pinata making and weaving Ojos de Dios. Culinary programs include decorating cupcakes, cookies and crepes, while wellness options feature mini yoga and eco-tours.
The teens' club has billiards, foosball, PlayStation 5 consoles and a disco room. The upcoming second floor will add an arcade, sports simulators, a golf simulator and a VIP cinema. Cultural programming includes cooking classes; Huichol beadwork and bracelet making; and wellness and art activities.
The kids' club operates daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., while the teens' club runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with evening hours reserved for ages 12 and up.
