The revamped and reorganized Baja.com website offers travel tips, reviews, a bilingual customer call center and a booking engine.
The site’s travel contributors are Baja experts who offer their reviews of local restaurants, hotels and vacation rentals as well as recommendations for daytrips, surfing, diving, art galleries, whale-watching, shopping and events.
Information covers Cabo San Lucas, Rosarito, La Paz, Loreto, Todos Santos, San Felipe, Ensenada and other regions.
“Whether a traveler is a first-time visitor to Baja or a 20-year veteran, we can help them discover something new in Baja and learn more about its cultural and environmental diversity,” said Jim Pickell, the site’s CEO and founder.
The site, which originally launched in 1995 with 20 pages, now averages 6.5 million visits a year, according to Pickell.
