A new interline deal struck between Porter Airlines and South African Airways (SAA) will open up connection opportunities for passengers traveling between Canada and West and Southern Africa through Porter’s Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport hub and SAA’s Johannesburg, South Africa, hub, via Washington Dulles.

Travelers who book interline tickets with SAA and Porter will be able to check their baggage through to their final destination.

SAA offers nonstop service from Dulles to Dakar, Senegal, with a continuation to Johannesburg. From Johannesburg, travelers can choose from an array of popular business and leisure destinations served by SAA and now easily accessible to Porter’s customers.

Porter’s service between Dulles and Toronto City Airport opens up a number of destinations in Canada for SAA’s flyers. Customers arriving there can grab connecting fligts to a number of cities that Porter serves, including Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa.

In other news, SAA has also launched flights to Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, from Johannesburg.
