Speakers added to CruiseWorld lineup

Tour, wholesaler and hospitality executives have joined the speaker ranks for CruiseWorld, Nov. 11 to 13 in Fort Lauderdale.



Long-time travel agency owner and CruiseWorld peer speaker Geoff Millar, co-owner of Ultimate All-Inclusive Travel in Arizona, will moderate a session on building supplier partnerships.

Millar's ability to build relationships at the executive level from his home-based business makes him uniquely qualified to lead this discussion. He has assembled a speaker roster for the session that includes Steve Gorga, president and CEO of Exclusive Group Travel; Tim Mullen, president of Apple Vacations; Mike Going, president of Funjet Vacations; Jesus Repetto, president of Titanium Tours and Richard Aquino, vice president of sales for Allianz Global Assistance.

During this breakout session on Friday, Nov. 13, Millar will lead this panel of executives in a discussion about the best ways for today's travel professionals to truly build partnerships with  their suppliers and have an identity within those organizations.

Another Friday afternoon supplier-rich panel includes "Selling Small Ships," moderated by Andy and Joanie Ogg of Ogg Marketing Group. Arguably one of the hottest trends in travel is taking place on rivers and aboard small ocean ships around the world. Join leaders in this booming market to hear what destinations and experiences are available to your clients. Learn how to sell to cruisers and non-cruisers alike, and hear about what's still to come for these dynamic companies.

Confirmed panelists include Mayra Donate of All Leisure Holidays; Terri Haas of Star Clippers; Nicola Iannone of CroisiEurope; Alexis Puma of Windstar; Steven R. Spivak of Tauck; and Cindy Sullivan of Avalon Waterways.

Supplier executives have been added to a Friday morning session titled "Selling Hobbies & Habits." Moderated by Passport Online's vice president of business development, Marilyn Macallair, this session will look at the potential to make some real money selling to the passions, habits and hobbies of your customers. Do they ski? Is golf their passion? Are they romantic fools? Are they action seekers? Are they rail enthusiasts or ntional park lovers?

Confirmed panelists include Carlos Gonzalez of AMResorts; Alan Hale of Fairways Golf Vacations; Frank Marini of Yankee Leisure Group; and Camille Oliverie of Club Med.

CruiseWorld will feature C-suite keynote speakers, supplier workshops, peer-to-peer training, an exhibitor showcase, sponsored meal functions, ship inspections and significant networking opportunities.

In addition to three days of jam-packed general sessions, there will be more than 30 breakout sessions covering every aspect of the leisure travel space.
