Spend any amount of time at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas and you’ll see groups of friends pouring from the planes, ready for bachelorette fetes, reunions and weekends out on the town. Often they’re sharing hotel rooms and hotel beds in an effort to keep costs down and save money for Vegas’ more famous enticements.
The Linq Hotel & Casino, part of Caesars Entertainment, has apparently heard the cries of budget visitors looking for just a little more mattress real estate on Las Vegas Boulevard: The property is unveiling a room design aimed at groups that will include two queen beds and a lofted twin bed, it said this month.
The 12 rooms will each measure 350 square feet and in addition to the loft bed will feature modern decor, USB charging stations, 47-inch LED TVs. Games like Twister, Jenga and Cards Against Humanity will also be available for rent.
Bob Morse, hospitality president for Caesars Entertainment, stated that the Linq bunk-bed rooms are the first on the Strip.
“This unique offering is in line with our goal of providing a complete lifestyle experience at the center of the Strip, perfect for group getaways and just in time for summer travel,” he added.
