Collective Retreats, which operates luxury glamping-style camps, announced that is first year-round property will open March 30 in the Texas Hill Country.

Collective Hill Country, a Retreat at Montesino Ranch, will be located in a sustainable, ecofriendly organic farm along the Blanco River.

The brand was unveiled last year and has seasonal resorts in Vail, Yellowstone and New York's Hudson Valley. It is also opening resorts later this year on New York's Governor's Island and in California wine country. The camps are portable, so they can be placed on the side of a mountain, in the middle of a vineyard or even inside special venues like museums. They can also be shuttered or moved during off-seasons.

The Montesino Ranch retreat will feature luxury canvas tents equipped with high-end amenities, including beds with 1,500 thread count linens, a in-tent french press coffee bar, full in-tent bathroom, in-tent massages and dining and a private deck.

Executive chef William Howell will introduce a "farm-to-flame", Texas-inspired menu featuring dishes such as jalapeno and cheddar Texas grits; wild boar osso bucco; and BBQ shrimp and grits.
