Nordic Inn in Colorado’s Mount Crested Butte, Gunnison County’s longest-operating lodge, has undergone a renovation of both its interior and exterior, with upgrades taking place in two stages.
Public spaces and 15 guestrooms were renovated in time for the 2011-2012 ski season, and the remaining guestrooms — there are 28 in all — were refurbished, along with the eight-room on-property chalet, this June. The renovations were carried out for an undisclosed dollar amount.
New features at the year-round property include soft furnishings throughout, a new event space for up to 60 and a new patio with a hot tub accessible via heated sidewalks.
Complimentary amenities include high-speed WiFi, daily continental breakfast and parking, as well as an electric ski resort shuttle that runs from the Nordic Inn parking lot to the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort all winter.
