With its lineup of bars and lounges, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has long been a destination for migratory nights that might start lobby-side at Vesper bar before moving to the tri-level Chandelier cocktail spot or DJ-fueled Bond. Now, Vegas revelers have a new venue to visit on their Cosmo crawls: CliQue.
Opened just in time for New Year’s Eve, this bar and lounge from Clique Hospitality has taken the place of Book & Stage alongside the casino floor on the property’s lower level. The menu focuses on craft cocktails made using fresh ingredients and from-scratch mixers, like the Benny Blanco with Casamigos Tequila, pineapple-chili shrub, Velvet Falernum, lemon and seltzer or the Dr. Cel-Ray Pepper with 50 Bleu vodka, celery-peppercorn shrub, cucumber, lemon, seltzer and celery bitters. Other drinks utilize fresh-pressed juices or are smoked for added flavor.
If hunger strikes, CliQue also offers a handful of shareable appetizers created by chef Brian Massie. Because there’s no better way to chase an elaborate shooter than with mini lobster tacos or pigs in blankets, and because every bar crawl should include some snacks.
