Food University at Caesars Palace will hold its inaugural class March 27 to 29. The hands-on culinary experience is meant to turn those interested in food from spectators to competition-ready chefs in 72 hours.
During the three days of Food University, students will take a number of classes, including sessions on basic knife skills, secret sauces and mastering beef. They will have the opportunity to work with some of Las Vegas’ top chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, cheese experts, fine food purveyors and farmers, who will serve as faculty. The first Food University will accommodate up to 80 students. Tuition is $1,995 per person for the three-day course, which includes all food, beverages and course instruction.
