Fuerza Bruta closes after just one month at Excalibur

|

Fuerza Bruta, an acrobatic show that debuted March 7 at the Excalibur for what was expected to be a half-year run, shut down after the April 7 performance.

A press release issued by the production on April 3 offered no explanation for the shortened run. The show will move to MGM Cotai in Macao in June, according to the statement.

Fuerza Bruta launched in 2003 in Argentina and has played in 58 cities around the world, including a 9-year off-Broadway run in New York. The 70-minute show features no stage, with the audience standing and filling the floor below as the performers are suspended above them.

Refunds for tickets purchased for canceled shows will be available at the point of purchase, according to the statement.
