It’s not a bar, and it’s definitely not a club. The latest nightlife venue from Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is an outdoor ultra lounge built around a pool.

Marketed as a “relaxed alternative” to the typical Las Vegas scene, the resort’s Breathe Pool will transition into a low-key nightspot after dark on Fridays and Saturdays. Breathe Pool Ultra Lounge will welcome guests cover-free to sip cocktails, sample some fondue or even hop in the pool should the mood strike. (And the mood’s bound to strike someone.)

“Breathe Pool is Las Vegas’ best-kept secret,” Joe Bravo, director of nightlife/daylife at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, said via press release. “By activating the space as Breathe Pool Ultra Lounge, it allows us to create a calm outdoor nightlife experience for guests who want to enjoy a relaxing evening out on the town.”

While relaxation might not be the word that comes to mind when travelers think Vegas, the venue could prove a welcome option for visitors who want to go out and socialize without hanging in the casino or spending the night in a dance club. You might even call it a breath of fresh air.

Breathe Pool Ultra Lounge at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is open Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. For more information, click here
