Michelangelo's frescoes from the Sistine Chapel are reproduced and displayed in full scale in a new permanent exhibition in the Shops at Crystals on the Las Vegas Strip.
The 25,000-square-foot "Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition" also includes sculptural representations of the artist's Moses, David and Pieta works. The Last Judgment Room, a cathedral-like space with pews and immersive sound, invites guests to reflect on the work.
SBX Group and SEE Global Entertainment, producers of the continuing "Princess Diana & the Royals: The Exhibition" at the Shops at Crystals, are the team behind this exhibition.
"We are proud to bring the exhibition to Las Vegas as a permanent installation," said Martin Biallas, SEE Global's CEO. "In a city known for unforgettable experiences, we're excited to introduce a cultural offering that allows visitors to engage with one of the world's greatest masterpieces in a more personal and accessible way."
Signs and audio guides enable guests to explore the meaning, technique and historical context of each fresco at their own pace. Guests should allow about 60 to 90 minutes to see the entire exhibit.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (5 p.m. last entry) daily. Admission starts at $32 (plus tax and fees). VIP Tickets include any time entry and a souvenir guidebook.
