Six Las Vegas restaurants were honored with Wine Spectator’s Grand Award, the top honor in the publication’s annual Restaurant Wine List Awards.
Aureole Las Vegas (at Mandalay Bay); Delmonico Steakhouse and Piero Selvaggio Valentino (both at the Venetian); Joel Robuchon Restaurant (MGM Grand); Picasso (Bellagio); and Restaurant Guy Savoy (Caesars Palace) earned Grand Award status. This award is given to restaurants that typically offer 1,500 selections or more. These wine selections feature top producers, outstanding depth in mature vintages and superior organization, presentation and wine service.
Thirty-nine Las Vegas restaurants earned a Best Award of Excellence rating, and 26 restaurants earned an Award of Excellence. Those with a Best of Award of Excellence have wine lists with vintage depth or excellent breadth across several regions while the Award of Excellence is given to restaurants with a well-chosen selection from quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
