Taos Ski Valley is set to open a 1,400-foot Pioneer lift that provides access to just-opened beginner terrain.

The improvement was designed to attract families with children and novice skiers and snowboarders. The resort already offers KinderKafig, an 18,000-square-foot children’s center featuring daycare services and kids’ ski lessons.

Also new this year, Taos Ski Valley will provide its own airport shuttle for visitors flying into Albuquerque. The three-hour transfer, which operates once a day in both directions, is priced at $85 per person; $70 each for groups of 10 or more.
