AmaWaterways is adding more departures to its gluten-free cruise charter lineup 2024 and 2025.

The river cruise line, in partnership with gluten-free travel provider Celiac Cruise, has added seven-night departures on the Danube River and in the Bordeaux region that will provide those passengers with a gluten-free sailing experience. A Christmas markets cruise on the AmaMore has already sold out, according to Celiac Cruise's website.

An Oct. 12 gluten-free sailing on the Danube between Vilshofen, Germany, and Budapest onboard the 156-passenger AmaViola calls in cities like Bratislava, Slovakia; Passau, Germany; and Vienna and Linz, Austria. This departure will also include a special Oktoberfest party with traditional local entertainment and gluten-free beer and pretzels.

On May 1, 2025, travelers can set sail on a cruise through the Bordeaux region in France, sailing on the Garonne, Gironde and Dordogne rivers onboard the 140-passenger AmaDolce. The ship will call in Libourne, Bourg, Cadillac and other towns and villages along the way.
