Self-drive boat rental company Le Boat is hoping that the hubbub surrounding the upcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle will spark interest in traveling to the U.K. to visit royal sites along the Thames River.

Le Boat offers a canal cruise on the Thames River, called "The Royal Cruise," that the company markets as an opportunity to enjoy the royal wedding atmosphere. The 215 mile-long River Thames winds past key royal destinations such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and Cliveden House.

Prince Harry and Markle are set to marry on May 19 in St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, one of the suggested stops on the cruise.

Across the river is Eton College, Prince Harry's alma mater, and another highlight of the itinerary. Additionally, Windsor Racecourse offers a glimpse into the royal family's involvement with equestrian sports. The historic racetrack dates back to 1866 and is a favorite of the royals.

Based on previous royal events, VisitBritain is expecting an uptick in visitors to the country in the lead-up to the wedding.

"This milestone event undoubtedly puts the global media spotlight on Britain and with it a fantastic opportunity to showcase internationally all the amazing romantic moments and experiences that visitors can only have in the U.K.," VisitBritain director of marketing Patricia Yates said in a statement.

Le Boat offers eight different Thames River itineraries, including The Royal Cruise itinerary.
