Riverside Luxury Cruises will debut the Riverside Mahler in 2028, marking the first time the former Crystal Cruises ship will sail for Riverside.

The ship is currently sailing for Uniworld Boutique River Cruises as the Elisabeth under a charter agreement. Uniworld is also sailing sister ship the Victoria (the former Crystal Bach) under that same agreement.

The Mahler will join sister ship Riverside Debussy on the Rhine, Main, Moselle and Danube rivers. Riverside purchased five of Crystal's former ships in 2023 and has been operating three: the Mozart, Debussy and Ravel.

"This is the next chapter for Riverside. Introducing Riverside Mahler gives us the opportunity to take everything we've built so far and apply it to the Rhine in new, creative ways -- more access, more flexibility and a fresh take on a river everyone thinks they already know," said CEO Jennifer Halboth.

The river cruise line said the addition of the Mahler emphasizes its commitment to thoughtful growth and expansion. Itinerary details are forthcoming.
