Victoria Cruises has relaunched the Victoria Katarina on China’s Yangtze River with a completely redesigned interior, including a new full-service spa and salon.

The Victoria Katarina, which originally launched in 2004 and has now been renovated twice since 2010, was updated with new furniture throughout the ship, and a new full-service spa and salon. New plumbing was also installed throughout the vessel.

Victoria Cruises began renovating the 264-passenger Victoria Katarina in the late fall, following a similar redesign of the Yangtze vessels Victoria Anna, Victoria Lianna, Victoria Selina and Victoria Sophia, using the same New York-based interior design firm it used for the previous renovations.

The Victoria Katarina sails the company’s Three Gorges Highlights program from Chongqing to Yichang in China on three- and four-night itineraries.

Like its sister ships, the Victoria Katarina features the executive amenities program, which offers upgraded staterooms, and other VIP additions such as a separate dining option, access to exclusive ship areas, complimentary WiFi, shoeshine service and reserved seating for evening entertainment (which must be reserved in advance), for an additional cost.
