The Westin Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, introduced a new signature spa treatment known as the Shells.
Therapists at the resort's spa employ local ingredients such as marine products, two endemic seashells, hot sand and coconut oil during the 80-minute, $135 treatment, which spa Manager Martha Solorzano called "special and innovative."
The spa has six massage rooms, including two for couples and a beachfront bungalow. Spa services are available for hotel guests, partners and visitors with a Reserva Conchal Day Pass. See www.westin.com.
