ATPCO has broadened its Routehappy content offerings to include information on whether Covid testing is required prior to boarding a flight.
The flight-shopping content, which is displayed as a graphic in flight search query responses, is already live on multiple channels, ATPCO said, including Sabre. The test requirement information is available for 102 airlines, which cover more than 75% of global flying, the airline-owned corporation added.
ATPCO has also prepared its data set for the possibility that countries will begin requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination for entry. If that happens, sales channels will be able to display the information in graphical form using existing Routehappy integrations.

ATPCO's display graphic for testing requirements will appear in flight search results alongside information graphics it previously introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Those provide details related to cleaning, mask policies, temperature checks and blocked seats for each flight.
"The science is evolving quickly, so countries, airlines and channels are having to adjust travel requirements at a pace not previously seen. It's almost impossible for even the savviest travelers to keep up with these changes on their own," said Jonathan Savitch, chief commercial officer at ATPCO. "As an industry-owned company that exists to make flight shopping easier, these are the challenges we need to tackle by enabling a simple and standard format that can be leveraged from existing connections that channels, systems and airlines already have with ATPCO."
