Air Canada Rouge has resumed operations, ending a service suspension caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The discount carrier and Air Canada subsidiary marked its return Tuesday with flight AC1810 from Toronto to Cancun.
"Air Canada Rouge remains an important part of our overall strategy in rebuilding Air Canada's global network," said Mark Galardo, Air Canada's vice president of network planning and alliances. "As leisure traffic resumes, we will progressively add Air Canada Rouge to select North American leisure markets from Eastern Canada."
Air Canada Rouge flights will operate using Air Canada's CleanCare+ biosafety program.
