Korean carrier Air Premia launching San Francisco service

South Korean carrier Air Premia will begin flying between Seoul and San Francisco on May 19, operating the service four times per week. 

Air Premia will compete on the route with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and United.

The airline debuted in the fall of 2021 and currently serves the U.S with routes from Seoul to Los Angeles and Newark. In addition, Air Premia is flying Seoul-Honolulu through early March. 

Air Premia flies Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners configured with 56 premium economy seats offering 42 inches between rows and 253 economy seats with 35 inches between rows. 

Tickets for the new route go on sale Wednesday.
