Allegiant Airlines will offer its first service to the Caribbean in December with flights from Orlando Sanford to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The flights will be offered four days per week.

San Juan is one of two new locations for the rapidly expanding ultra-low-cost carrier. Allegiant will begin service in Trenton, N.J., in November with thrice-weekly flights to Orlando and twice-weekly flights to St. Pete and Punta Gorda.

With the addition of San Juan and Trenton, Allegiant will serve 119 cities.

Allegiant announced two other new routes. Beginning Oct. 5, it will fly from Las Vegas to Oakland and Kansas City. The Oakland flight will be offered five times per week, and the Kansas City flight will be offered two times per week.
