Holland America Line said its 2014 world cruise aboard the Amsterdam will cross the equator four times and spend long stretches in the Southern Hemisphere


After leaving Fort Lauderdale and going though the Panama Canal, the cruise will stop in Peru for an excursion to Machu Picchu before moving on to Easter Island, French Polynesia and the eastern coast of Australia.

The 113-day cruise continues through southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean to Cape Town, South Africa, and then up the west coast of Africa before crossing to the Caribbean.

Rates start at $19,999 and early-booking incentives include prepaid hotel service charges, shipboard credit, luggage delivery service and a complimentary shore excursion or event for select stateroom categories.
