Bomb threat forces Etihad Airlines flight to land in Pakistan

An Etihad Airlines jet made an unscheduled landing in Karachi, Pakistan, on Wednesday after a note warning there was a bomb on board was found in a bathroom, according to the Associated Press.

The plane, which was carrying close to 200 passengers and crew, was en route from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to Islamabad, Pakistan.

Police searched the plane but did not find any explosives and the flight was allowed to resume its journey.
