The Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles Airport is opening on Sept. 7.

The 8,500-square-foot facility is Capital One's second airport lounge, joining the one it opened at Dallas/Fort Worth in 2021.

The lounge is located just beyond the TSA PreCheck station between Dulles' east and west security checkpoints.

Access will be complimentary to holders of Capital One's premium Venture X Rewards credit card plus up to two guests, while holders of the bank's Venture and Spark Miles cards will receive free access twice annually.

The general public will be allowed into the lounge for $65.

The lounge, Capital One said, will offer grab-and-go dining as well as a full-service coffee and pastry bar. Craft beer and cocktails will also be on offer.

Food and beverage items will include locally sourced offerings, some prepared in partnership with D.C.-area purveyors.

The lounge will also offer working spaces, power outlets at every seat, lockers and kid-sized tables and chairs, among other features.

The lounge was designed to evoke Washington Dulles' mid-20th century origins.
