Delta will not resume flights from Atlanta to Marsh Harbour
in the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama.
The airline stopped flying to those Bahamas destinations in
September after Hurricane Dorian caused destruction as a Category 5 hurricane.
Delta said it will not resume operating the two routes because of extensive hurricane damage. The Marsh Harbour flight was year-round and the Grand Bahama flight
was seasonal.
Delta will continue flying into Nassau year-round from
Atlanta and New York-JFK and seasonally from Boston, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale
and Minneapolis-St. Paul. It will also continue to serve Exuma year-round and
North Eleuthera seasonally from Atlanta.
