Delta Airlines will begin a daily nonstop route on May 12 between Paris and Raleigh-Durham, N.C.

The flight, on a Boeing 757-200, will depart from Paris Charles de Gaulle at 10:45 a.m. and from Raleigh-Durham at 2 p.m. It will be the second international route for North Carolina airport, which also offers a daily American Airlines flight to London Heathrow.

“The launch of this new service speaks to the strength of our market and the demand for service not only to Europe but to a gateway destination that offers connections to cities throughout Africa, Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East,” Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority CEO Michael Landguth said in a statement.
