InterCaribbean Airways is expanding its service between San Juan and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands with two daily roundtrips, effective Dec. 19 through Nov. 4.

On four days per week in each direction, the carrier will offer three daily flights. Roundtrip fares start at $237.60.

InterCaribbean is based in the Turks and Caicos, pays 6% commission and operates EMB 120 turbo prop aircraft.

“Since we first began service from San Juan to Tortola, we have seen a steady increase in the demand for our flights,” said Trevor Sadler, CEO.

Sharon Flax-Brutus, BVI director of tourism, said that the increase in service will help address the challenge of airlift and accessibility to the destination.

The carrier also plans to soon announce increases in its service between the BVI and Antigua.
